Walter Oropeza, Mexican citizen, is Aramis Group Operations Manager. He is responsible for all projects and guarantees the quality, reliability and consistency of the Services delivered to Clients. He brings 15 years of international experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

He joined Aramis Group in 2004 as Operations Engineer and completed advanced training in project management. He was later promoted as Project Manager responsible for the implementation and improvement of Aramis Project Management System, for the promotion of all Quality Assurance and HSE initiatives, and for the management and coordination of the project services function, throughout the Group subsidiaries, and various operational and project sites.

He undertook an assignment as Construction Interface Manager on the PNG LNG Project, was appointed Area Manager of Aramis Indonesian operations, and was later responsible for the implementation of the management of a very significant Operations Assurance and Asset Management project on Ningxia Hanas LNG Plant in China.

He started his career in 2001 as Construction Engineer with responsibilities in structural design and analysis, estimation and cost control, contractors’ coordination and site supervision for various projects in Mexico. He then undertook various oil & gas assignments as Field Engineer on commissioning, operations and maintenance projects in Brunei, Myanmar, Thailand and joined Aramis in Malaysia as operations engineer. He is fully trained and qualified with Total’s OPERCOM™ and ICAPS Commissioning Methodology and System.

Walter holds a MSc. in Structural and Mechanical Engineering.
